“Likewise must the deacons be grave, not double-tongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre: greedy of filthy lucre…” 1 Timothy 3:8

Deacons at LCC strive for excellence in service, as they diligently meet the needs of the congregation. They are intentional about providing opportunities to serve, and mindful of the needs to be served. They are clear about their responsibility to assist the pastor by providing support to prepare for the Lord’s Supper, counseling for members, discipleship for new members, as well as Baptism for new converts to Christ.
Deacons shall execute the policies of the church in the areas of administration and ministry. At LCC we believe that Deacons are called for unique service to God and the church. The goals of the church establish the objectives for the ministry for the deacons in cooperation with Overseer Ragland.

Those who have served will gain an excellent standing and great assurance in their faith in Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 3:13
